Brian wins an award for saving Justin’s life, but is reticent about accepting it after a gay columnist calls into question his relationship with Justin. Michael is still stuck in the past, but clawing towards a new reality with best friend Brian
Justin continues to struggle with PTSD causing his mother to turn to Brian for help. Ted loses his job after his boss discovers his on-the-clock web browsing habits. Michael drifts aimlessly through the front and back rooms of Babylon.
Justin deals with the physical effects of being gay bashed while Brian can’t move beyond the emotional impact of it. Michael makes a surprise appearance in Pittsburgh and eventually comes clean about Dr David Cameron.
Everyone faces an uncertain future as separations occur, one by one. Blake descends further into addiction, Dr David has plane tickets to Portland with Michael, Brian turns 30 with self destructive behavior. Justin’s life will never be the same again.
After a hookup with a New York ad exec, Brian announces to the gang that he’s leaving Pittsburgh for NYC. Vic’s indecent exposure case continues to wind through the courts. Dr David announces that he’s moving to Portland and packs Michael’s thing
Justin goes on offense with an aloof Brian, resulting in him being crowned the King of Babylon. Ted continues to try to fix Blake as he struggles for acceptance from Ted’s friends. Vic has a troubling encounter with an undercover policeman.
Brian faces the reality of his father’s death, as everyone tries to tell him how he should be feeling about it. Ted still clings to Blake, even as he descends deeper into crystal meth addiction. Daphne wants her “first” to be with Justin, who obliges
Ted tries to fix Blake again after finding him tweaking at Babylon. Brian encounters Dr David at the bathhouse causing Michael to rethink his long term relationship and have a hookup of his own. Justin must decide between business school and art school.
Michael is a changed man after his trip to France with Dr David. Justin has to make a decision about leaving town. Bad News Blake reconnects with Ted. Lindsay and Guillaume move forward with their sham wedding. Dr David and Michael host the A-Gays.
