Episode 7 of season 1 of the US version of Queer as Folk is discussed: Justin gets a pierced nipple while announcing that he “doesn’t do boyfriends.” Michael and Dr David go for a romp in the countryside. Justin’s father attacks Brian not once, but twice resulting in a new roommate for Brian. Patrick and Matt get into an on-air fight about Brian’s motivations surrounding his relationship with Michael and then give their verdict on whether the episode still holds up, 17 years after first airing.
